Prior to that, Linan earned a Master’s degree in Ecology from the Shenyang Institute of Applied Ecology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, in 2014. Linan’s academic journey began with a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science from the College of Resources and Environment at Henan Institute of Science and Technology, where studies were completed in 2011.

Linan Liu is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Environmental Science at Hebei Institute of Environmental Engineering, a position held since January 2024. Before this, Linan worked as a Research Assistant at the School of Environmental Science and Engineering, Nankai University, from September 2021 to January 2024. Earlier in the career, Linan also contributed as a Research Assistant at the Research Center for Eco-Environmental Sciences, Chinese Academy of Sciences, from August 2014 to August 2015.
