Contributions
Prof. Qin Xiaochun has pioneered the development of a dynamic perception model and attraction strength mechanism for road landscapes, addressing the limitations of traditional perception methods. Her innovative approach enables the automatic identification and quantification of landscape features, providing a precise and efficient tool for road landscape design. In traffic ecology, she has developed methods for evaluating and identifying the ecological impacts of roads, addressing long-term cumulative effects. Additionally, her work on functional materials and technologies for slope ecological restoration has provided solutions for soil erosion and steep slope stabilization in areas prone to heavy rainfall and sandstorms.
