Wei Xiong embarked on his academic journey by earning a Bachelor of Arts in Literature and Arts from the School of Chinese Language and Literature at Wuhan University (2009-2013). His doctoral thesis, titled “The Norms of the Word: The Religious Beliefs and Everyday Life in a Catholic Community,” explored religious beliefs within the framework of everyday life, setting the stage for his future research trajectory.
