Lei Chen, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor at the School of Pharmaceutical Science and Technology, Tianjin University. She holds a Ph.D. in Applied Chemistry from Tianjin University, an M.Sc. in Biopolymer Chemistry from Nankai University, and a B.Sc. in Microbiology from Shandong University. Her research focuses on modern separation technologies, including mixed-mode and chiral chromatography, magnetic separation, and their applications in pharmaceutical analysis. She was a visiting scholar at the University of California, Santa Barbara, and has led a National Science Foundation of China (NSFC) research project. 🎓Education

  • Lei Chen earned her Ph.D. in Applied Chemistry from the School of Chemical Engineering and Technology at Tianjin University in March 2006. She previously completed her M.Sc. in Biopolymer Chemistry at the Institute of Polymer Chemistry, Nankai University in June 2000. Her academic journey began with a B.Sc. in Microbiology from the College of Life Sciences at Shandong University, which she obtained in June 1995.
