He is currently a postdoctoral fellow at the College of Optoelectronic Engineering, Shenzhen University, and a visiting scholar in the Department of Bioengineering at Clemson University. His research focuses on fluorescence lifetime microscopy, STED super-resolution optical imaging, and their biomedical applications, with over 80 SCI papers published in leading journals.
